Understand the scope, parameters, and limitations of the mathematical estimates provided by SnapDecor.
1. Educational & Estimation Purposes Only
All calculators, tools, visualizers, SVG layout blueprints, and text guides provided on SnapDecor (accessible at https://snapdecor.io) are designed for educational, planning, and estimation purposes only. The outputs generated by our calculators are mathematical approximations based on the dimensions and parameters you input.
SnapDecor does not provide structural engineering, professional architectural blueprint layouts, or certified contracting advice.
2. The "Measure Twice, Cut Once" Rule
While we strive for absolute mathematical accuracy in our calculator logic, real-world rooms, walls, ceilings, and floors are rarely perfectly square, level, or plumb. In addition:
- Material products (like wallpaper rolls, floor tiles, luxury vinyl planks, or curtain panels) can vary in dimensions between manufacturing runs and brands.
- Calculated paint coverage is subject to factors such as wall porosity, humidity, and painting technique.
- Hanger offsets on frames vary between individual hardware manufacturers.
Therefore, you must physically measure and verify all layouts, markings, and coordinates on site before cutting wood, ordering custom curtains, opening wallpaper rolls, or drilling nail holes.
3. Limitation of Material Liability
SnapDecor is not responsible for, and cannot be held liable for:
- Financial losses resulting from buying too much or too little material (e.g., ordering extra boxes of floor planks, tile grout, or rolls of wallpaper).
- Restocking fees, shipping delays, or project schedule hold-ups caused by incorrect material orders.
- dry-wall damages, structural weakening, or physical accidents resulting from mounting heavy items (like large picture frames or televisions) based on our calculators.
- Errors in cutting, painting, or nailing resulting from using our slat and Batten marking schedules.
4. Seek Professional Assistance
If you are executing complex structural modifications, such as mounting televisions over a fireplace, checking structural load-bearing limits for board and batten, or sealing moisture-heavy bathrooms before tile installation, we recommend consulting a certified general contractor or structural professional.
